Evil Dead
BRILLIANT! If
you are into cult movies, comedy horrors or lots of blood and
gore this is a must 
see! The
Evil Dead's are all must see's for any horror fans!! It takes
place when five friends drive up to a holiday cottage in some old
woods. They find a tape recorder there and play it back -
mysterious words in another language are spoken (pages from the
Necremonican), and this is what wakes the evil in the woods!
Gradually the evil seeps into the occupants and turns them into
zombie monster things. The make up effects are good and Ash,
eventually the only one left has to combat the demonic mosters in
the house. Must see!

I think this
is a bit better than Evil Dead 1, but some people disagree. It
has more blood and gore in and more black comedy. It sort of
takes place after the end of Evil Dead one, where Ash wakes up in
the woods. He makes it back down to the wood cabin - it seems
when it is getting dark, the evil has come again! Meanwhile, a
woman is making her way down to the cabin because her parents
lived there - she has the missing pages of the Necremonican, the
only thing that can end the evil. Back at the cabin, Ash's dead
girlfriend's dismembered head bites his hand and infects him with
the evil. When his hand gets a lif of it's own, he decides to do
the done thing and hack it off with a chiansaw - who's laughing
now? When the woman and some other people turn up, Ash
mistakingly gets locked in the cellar with 'mother' zombie, and
the evil starts terrorising all of them together. In the end, the
daughter and Ash are the only one's left and they have to try and
repeat the words from the book. Unfortunatly, she only reads part
and sends the'evil' and Ash into a vortex!oops

3 - Army of Darkness
Just as great
and more funny! This is a brilliant film that everybody should
see! After the vortex in Evil Dead 2, Ash has been transported to
the 1300's - a time when the deadites are invading the world (the
evil). After he kills some deadites when he is thrown in the
pits, he becomes the 'promissed one', the legned written about to
save them. He takes a journey to get the Necremonicon, but
unfortunatly can't remember the magic words! He also brings to
life 'Evil Ash'. So, he helps his new fans fight the deadites and
Evil Ash with his 'new technology', boomstick and car. After he
saves the day, he is taken back through the vortex to his time
and goes back to his job, where once again he saves the store
from an angry deadite. Very Good, plus it has a cool cover and
Bruce Campbell is great as Ash. Hail to the King Baby!

The Exorcist
This is quite a good film, but I don't really see why it was banned. It is about a young girl who becomes possesed by a demon who says it's the devil. After killing some people, a local priest performs an exorcism and erradicates the demon from the girl. It has some good make up effects, and can be creepy at times. I'd recommend watching this film, I just wouldn't rate it as awful as was imagined before it was re-released.
