Interview
With A Vampire
This is a very good film - showing you a vampires point of view. The movie title says what it is really - it's meant to be giving an interivew with a vampire (Brad Pitt) and it reverts back through his life. He is devasted by the loss of his wife and daughter and gives up on life, when a vampire gives him the choice to die or to have immortal life - he lets the vampire give immortailty. It is very well made and put together, recalling the torment and anguish of living eternally and survivng on blood. A little girl is added to the household of the two vampires played by Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt - extremely upset that she can never grow up to be a woman. There is a battle between good and bad vampires. I recommend watching this film very much for it's genre and origionality.

I Know
What You Did Last Summer
This is quite entertaining,if you enjoy teen slasher movies. While out partying, a couple of teenagers accidently run over someone. They dump it in the lake and hope that their secret is buried however, it seems someone knows and is out to get revenge. Nasty tricks are played on them and it seems the dark cloaked figure with a fishhook is out to kill them. It has some scary moments.

I still know what you did last summer
I found this more interesting than the first one because the setting was more spooky - on a deserted island as opposed to a city. Jennifer Love Hewit (the main character from the last film) is just getting over the trauma of the murders when she and some friends win an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas. However there is hardly anyone on the island because it's storm season which makes it a little bleak. The viscious murders start beginning and that message apears: I still know what you did last summer. Trapped on the island, it seems they have come face to face with the murderer again - but he as presumed dead after the first film. . . The remaining party fight for their lives in a terrifying cat and mouse chase. As a horror film,it does have some creepy momments - the idea of being trapped on a near desserted island is a scary thought.

IT
Brilliant! Another Stephen King work of art. This film is quite long, but it doesn't drag on. 30 years ago, seven young misfits made a group and becamse friends and confronted some bullies . But they also discovered something evil that was killing children in their town - it seemed to feed off children's fear. It was starting to terrify them, and they identified it as PennyWise the clown - armed with razor fangs. They went to the sewers where they believed it lived and using their strength of their friendship, killed it - or so they believed. In the present day, things start to happen again and the group reform to try and stop the evil of 'IT'. They journey through a nightmare of a pyschological battle of with what is real and what isn't in order to stop IT forever. It is scary in places with good psychological elements and generally a superb feature.

In Dreams
This is quite a boring film - a sort of psychological thriller about a young girl that has gone missing. The plot is slow and nothing really happens - I wouldn't really class it as a horror.
