Laughing Dead

The cover looks good for this film which is a bit deceiving. It is bearable, but slightly tedious and boring. It has a few pleasant unpleasant scenes like someone's arm being chopped off then rammed down their throat, but it doesn't really make the film worth watching. It is about a priest who is taking a tour throgh Mexico to study the Aztecs and Mayans, for some reason. Amazingly enough, on the tour is the girlfriend he hasn't seen for years and his son he's never seen - what are the chances of that happpening? At a strange festival, the tour soon learns that it isn't wholesome family fun as most of them start being killed. Rituals to sacrificial Gods etc same old thing. If you still want to buy, it I'm selling my DVD of the Laughing Dead for £5!

The Living Dead At Manchester Morgue

A zombie movie which is set in the English countryside in the 1970's. It isn't very scary and the blood is limited, however it is entertaining. It's about a new chemical brought out to kill insects on crops - unfortuantly it isn't safe and starts bringing the dead back to life once it starts pentrating into the ground. I group get caught up in it and are blamed for the murders. It's not that inventive - follows the same storyline as most zombie films and teh accents are a bit phoney but is still good to watch.

Long Time Dead

A rare modern English Horror that is good - this is very good. It is about a group of people playing with a oiuja board - it has bad consequences. It releases a dark, malevolant demon which hunts down the party of people and kills them in very nasty ways. It is gory, quite eerie and the characters are interesting.
