What Lies Beneath
Although this seems to be quite long, it is interesting - good if you like ghost, mystery type films. After moving into a new house and her daughter moving out, a woman living with her new husband begins to see apparitions and have ghost like experiences. But there seems to be something more sinister about the visions than justa ghost - the ghost of a younbg girl is trying to tell her something. She risks her life to solve the mystery and uncover a memory buried deep in her subconsious. This is an enjoyable film to watch and is well made.

The Wicker Man
This is a great early film - though not really a 'horror' (it doesn't contain lots of blood and gore, or ghost). It is about a policeman who goes to visit a remote island to investigate a report of a missing girl on the island. He notices that the inhabitants are a little strange, and being a Christian he objects very much when he find out they are all Pagans. Their festival day comes and he still has refused to leave, but his investigation comes to an end when he realises the harsh reality. There was no missing girl, it was all to lure him thre so they can sacrifice him to their God. They lock him up in a huge wicker man (made out of sticks) - which is a bit of a grisly end. I enjoyed this film, although being Pagan myself, I do find it a bit amusing that people think Pagans are into sacrificing! lol. Very well made film.
